CHAPTER 14
Davix
* * *
I sit there, watching Ladriaâs pitiful display. The poor thing rocks back and forth as the searing heat no doubt fries her synapses. I want to aid her, to comfort her, but I canât allow myself to follow the healer instincts.
Staring down at my fingers, I resist the urge to slide them back into her mouth. The innocent way in which she sucked on me is forever etched into my brain, and my body craves more, demands more. Now, more than ever, itâs imperative I force her into a heat sooner rather than later.
Even with the respirators in, I canât stop the electric pull between her body and mine. But not only is she innocent, but sheâs also determined to resist me. I donât want to force myself on her, to be yet one more Alpha that takes advantage of her station, but the need to be buried deep inside, to pierce her flesh with my teeth beats about in my brain like a living thing demanding to be set free.
Reaching down for the small satchel that contains traces of patonsersa, a plain starch thatâs excellent for neutralizing the heat from spicy foods, I coat my fingers and rub them against her lips. Once more, she parts them, leaning her face forward as I massage the powdery substance into her delicate skin.
Iâm playing with fire, and yet, I canât help myself as I slip into her mouth and rub her tongue, needing to feel the textured flesh against my fingertips. For a moment, she draws back, her face screwed up as she tastes the starch, and I canât help but laugh. Itâs short-lived, however, because soon, she leans forward again, wrapping those lips around my thick digits, sucking off every bit of residue.
My balls draw up to the point of pain as I watch her bobbing back and forth, alternating between licking and sucking. Thereâs an urgency there, a fervent need that Iâve never known from her before. Itâs intoxicating. All I can think about is her pleasuring my cock in the same manner.
Pulling back, I wipe my fingers against my pants and clear my throat. One of us has to be the voice of reason, and judging by the way Ladriaâs eyes are dilated, that person has to be me. This was supposed to be a punishment after all.
âDecide to put yourself at risk again,â I growl, âand Iâll coat a very different set of lips. Am I understood?â
Her mouth drops open as pink tinges her cheeks. âYes, Davix. I understand.â
I pin her with a hard glare, crossing my arms as I stare down at her. âAre you forgetting already?â
Ladria looks about, her eyes widening as her brain clicks into motion. âYes,â she pauses, grimacing as if tasting something awful. âMaster.â
âGood girl.â
Choosing to ignore her slight faux pas, I pick the tray back up and set it in between us. As the fragrant broth wafts up, her stomach lets out a loud growl. Smiling, I dip the spoon in, blow on it for a few seconds, and hold it up to her lips.
